Hello!
I am so sorry that I have slacked off! Some of you are probably wondering what my life has been like! Here's a run down of my day to day life. The classes that I have this semester are Book of Mormon, Biology, Anthropology, World Civilizations to 1600, Mass Communications, and Irish Dance. I know what you are thinking. That sounds completely boring! And they are like all history classes! But, surprisingly most of them aren't that bad! Irish is a really interesting class! I've been learning a lot about the culture and about the dances that are traditional to Ireland! It is sooo cool! :) Classes are going pretty good. As you can imagine with my classes there is a lot of wrinting assignments and a lot of chapter books to be read. I've never had this much to think about probably ever! Most of my classes make you think about life and the people involved.
So, some ofthe exciting things that I've done since being here. During the first week of school I got to go to a John Mayer concert with Owl City as the opener! IT was soooo much fun and definately a good choice for my first concert! :)

That reminds me! I need to introduce my roommates! There are five of them as you can tell and Those are their names! Danielle and Andrea are from California and Rachelle and Mikayla are from Utah. Sarah is actually from home and has been my best friend since forever! :) They are all SUPER awesome and I LOVE them all to death! I am soo grateful to be blessed with such wonderful roommates for the second time! I have no idea what it would be like to have roommates that I didn't get along with! :) Another thing that was totally fun was we had a "mini" summer reunion with some extras for Erin's 19th Birthday! It was super fun! We danced and played Wackee Six and ate WAY more cake than any normal person should!

Hey y'all! Sorry I haven't blogged in a while, but I've been SUPER busy with school and moving and such!
So, the term has ended and I am SUPER sad! It's weird to not be around the same people everyday like I've been everyday since June. I had like Companion Seperation Anxiety the first night that I wasn't sharing a room with Jessilee! The last few days were kinda bittersweet. On wednesday of the last week we decided to have a HUGE family dinner with our roomies, FHE brothers, and some extras we also hang out with (Skyler and Marc). Then the next day Allie and I wanted to pull an all nighter, but we decided since we were both moving out the next day it probably was not the best idea. But, we did manage to hang out with some friends for a while and make some memories. On that night there was a meteor shower and and so me, Allie, Skyler, Jessilee, Emily, Austin, Kimmy, and Erin decided to find a spot to watch the shower for a couple of hours. Austin knew of a place near Draiper that has open skies and a great view! So, we went and enjoyed the beautiful stars! then we went homw because it was FREEZING! Then everyone but Kimmy and Erin decided that we didn't really want to go to bed yet so we went to IHOP. that was exciting! Emily feel asleep after she ate her meal and we all had to wait for Skyler because like usual he took four years! :)
The next day was the saddest of the entire week. We all got up pretty early and finished our packing and began our cleaning. Skyler came over to say goodbye, but couldn't watch us clean so he sat in the lobby with Allie's mom and my dad. Jess was the first to leave and I cried watching her go. A little while later me ad Allie left at the same time, and hte tears flowed once again! IT was even worse when we threw Sky into the mix. IT is WAY too hard to say goodbye ot the two best friends you make at summer term. The worst part? Who knows when I'll see either of them again. Neither of them are coming back for fall. But, they helped me to grow as a person this summer and I will always be greatful even though I won't see them everyday. Leaving was really hard and it was even weirder when we drove to the temple and then back to my dorm to show Holly and Nate. This happened at the same time it would have normally on sunday. Campus is quiet, but I'll be back there soon enough.
This week for my vacation I have been relaxing in peaceful Choteau, Montana. I was visiting my grandma and we did lots of fun stuff. On monday we went to the Roxy theater where it shows only one movie at one time every day. It was sooo old school! It made me happy! :) Then on tuesday we went to great falls to go shopping for some new clothes and a new computer. Then I went to the ice cream shop in Choteau and got Montana Moose Moss ice cream which is pretty much mint chocolate chip ice cream. Then we watched Once Upon A Summer that was about two friends leaving (which made me kinda sad because of the previous weekend!) The next day we wentto Glacier Park! It was lots of fun and REALLY pretty! The water was soooo blue and the glaciers were gorgeous! WE had a fun day at the park and ate a nice picnic lunch in the trees. We saw four mountain goats, and that was the extent of our wildlife citings. We didn't see any mountain lions or bears. :( When we got home we grilled some pork chops and watched Return With Honor. We also looked at some old pictures of my dad as a child and my siblings as children. Then today we jsut hung around the house until lunchtime. For lunch we went to the old drive-in (which isn't a drive-in anymore) and then we visited Andy and Charlene for a while. WE went back to gradnma's and ate peanut butter pie and headed down the road back to Provo!
So, now I'm here looking forward to tomorrow when I might be going to Yellowstone and will be going to Annie Get Your Gun with her family. Hopefully, everything will be alright and I will see my roomies and besties in the very near future!

Hello!
Well, this week was pretty chill. Not that a lot didn't happen, it did, there is ust a lot that is going on in the next week. This upcoming week I have two tests and a term paper due! I hope I won't get superly stressed out! But anyways!
This week I had the awesome oppurtunity to break a world record! BYU orchestrated the world's largest water balloon fight! It was awesome to be a part of! There were tons of people. The way that they organized it was after you signed in you got to pick which shirt color you wanted. There was blue, orange, pink, and green. I chose orange because one of my roommates really wanted me to, and then they divided the four colors in two groups. There was the blue and orange side (I call it the Bobcat side!) and the green and pink side. WE each got a bag of thirty balloons and we lined up on either side of a yellow rope and when Phil (check previous posts, I think I mention him) yelled go, we went! IT was the craziest thing to watch! Afterwards they shot a music video with a smaller group of us (actually not me, but two of my roommates were in it!) They also gave us free lunch. Sub sandwiches and 12oz Cookies 'N Cream BYU Creamery Ice Cream. It was awesome! I even tanned a little! If you want to see it there are videos all over the internet, major news stations, and even the local news in Texas!! :-D It's pretty legit.
After the fight I went to a Y.A.S.E. concert. That would be the Young Ambassador Camp for high school students. MaryKathryn from Texas was in it and so I gladly went to support and I LOVED it! IT totally made me miss choir and The Theater Company musicals! It was a great show!
Then I just hung out with my roommates and watched 27 Dresses. Then I got asked on TWO dates in a span of twenty minutes, so that was pretty exciting! Well, that is pretty much the excitement for the week! Oh yeah! I got egged!
I was walking down the street with Jessilee and Skyler and some one in a truck drove by and hit us with eggs. One of the eggs didn't hit us, and the other one hit Skyler hard on the knee and splatter all over the dress I was wearing and ALL over my legs and my shoes are ruined. IT also hit Jess kinda on the chest. IT was pretty gross, but oh well. You gotta put your behind in the past!(Name the movie).

Sorry that this has taken forever for me to write! I've been really busy!! So, This past week I was REALLY stressed out becuase I had a Psych test AND a Dino test! I didn't do so well on the psych one, but I kicked butt on the Dino one! But, this weekend was a blast! I got to partake in doing random service for some other people and I got to meet new people like always! One of the highlights of my weekend was matching my roomie Jessilee for church! We have the same dresses only different patterns! Isn't that the cuttest? Kayla and Erin two of my other roommates also matched becasue they wore the same skirt!
Friday was eventful. So I studied for a couple of hours on my Dino and then we were going to go watch Plant 51 at Helamen Fields. Oh yeah! It had rained already once that day. So I went into my kitchen and one of my roommates had boughten a TV at DI becuase we really want ot watch movies and we have a TINY screen! So we watched Hairspray, and then went to see if the movie was still playing. WE were only there for like three minutes when it started raining. (The whole walk there it was lightening, but we thought it was harmless.) So we were rain soaked so we decide to sit in the boys dorm and dry off, also waiting for the rain to let up. We had a blast adn we met new people!
Saturday has to be my favorite day of this past week! I started by doing my laundry while studying, and skyping Holly! Then I took my Dinosaur test and got a 86!! I was SOOO excited; in fact Iwas jumping and singing in the hallways of my dorm! Then I got to hang out with my roomies and some of our "honorary" roomies (they're boys). WE made cookies and a cake for someone's birthday party. Then we watched Anastasia! It was the best!The nwe went to the creamery for some ice cream and a group of us went bowling. Skyler won both games, and I lost both games. And you know what? IT was probably the WORST night of bowling for me since Iwas like six! And....I had my MOST embarassing mpment EVER!! I went to throw the ball and I stepped really far over the line stright into the the wax. And according to Jess it looked like I was side-swiped by no one! I fell on my right side and then I just layed there thinking "Why does this happen only to me?!" Well, at least it was entertaining to the people I was with! then after that we went stargazing on a hill next to the bell tower and the little stream. IT was nice getting to talk to everyone!
And Sunday was it's normal busy self!!

Sorry, that this post came later than the other one. This past week as been good. It's freedom week in Provo and that means that there is stuff to do everywhere! On sunday we went to a firesde that was all about Americans and their freedom. Steve Young spoke and they had a traditional tribte to the branches of the military. There was also a presentation about different people who came to America and their struggles through the years. The last thing that they did was sing Amazing Grace and it was all about the slave trade. This AWESOME black guy was one of the people singing and at the end he held up
old-school handcuffs like the ones slaves would have been in on the ships. IT was so powerful!! I didn't know what to do with myself. I was feeling really patriotic. And because of my brother-in-law's recent comissioning in to the United States Air Force everytime they said something about the Air Force I got REALLY patriotic! After that we had Ward Prayer and we didn't even realize until someone began reading our spiritual thought that it was the anniversary of the martyrdom of Joseph and Hyrum Smith. We listened to the entire chapter in the Doctrine and Covenants and ten we heard a group sing A Poor Wayfaring Man of Grief. This was also SUPER Powerful!!
The rest of the week was just having fun. I went to class and then at night hung out with some of my new friends. On Wednesday I had a fun experience though in that I was hiking in a Mountain (Rock Canyon Actually) for Dinosaur class and a HUGE rainstorm hit. We were soaked! On thursday I also got to eat lunch with some of hte people from my Y Group at NSO. Then we went and took a tour of BYU/SA. Which is the major service organization at BYU that was described to me like their Student Government. It was cool to see, and guess what? I am now going to be partially in charge of the Homecoming Dances. (I don't know if I'm a co-chair yet or a committee member). So that's pretty exciting! Then (on the same day) my roommates and I decided that we should bring food to a different dorm of boys. We met another group of extremely interesting people. And....a Taylor Lautner look-a-like!! No lie! Then we went and saw Eclipse! It was awesome! I totally enjoyed it! And.... I think that I am probably going to stay on Team Jacob now instead of flip-flopping back and forth.
The next day we kinda took a lazy day. At night though we went to hang out with some of the new boys we met and we watched Captain Blood. IT's an old black and white movie starring Errol Flynn and it is straight up Pirates of the Caribbean!! I kid you not! this movie was where they got all their ideas for their movies!! After we watched that we decided to play volleyball. After volleyball WE just kinda hung out for a while and then a coupld of us went for a walk. When we came back there were a TON of people hanging out at the volleyball court and so we decided to hang out with them. Italked to a bunch of people that I already knew and got to know some that I didn't better. I also met a lot of awesome people!
Then today my roommates that didn't go to the movie the first time went, and naturally so did I. IT was lots of fun and we enjoyed riding the city bus. We met a lot of people that way too! Now we are just hanging out and doing homework before we have a picnic and watch the fireworks! So that's all for now!

Hey everybody!
Sorry that I've slacking off! I have offically been in college here at BYU for two days now and lots has happened, so I'm going to attempt an overview as fast and not lengthy as possible!
So, I arrived here on thursday and was able to get my key to my dorm and to put some things in my room. My first impression was "WOW....this is smaller that the picture made it look like, and a TOTAL dive!" But as I have been living here for four days, I have grown to love it and it's cute tininess! The next day was the first day of New Student Orientation (NSO) and I was nervous! I was so afraid that no one would like me and that I'd be some quiet loser from Texas! IT was quite the opposite! We were split into groups and given a wrist band with a color and a number (yes, just like EFY). Then we had a couple of meetings and I ended up being the fun talkative girl from Texas who was making lots of people laugh! After all the meetings and stuff we learned how to square dance, and then we had like a fifteen minute dance.
The next day was the second and last day of NSO and we had a couple more meetings, but we were also given a tour of the campus so that hopefully we would have a better idea of where our classes where. Then we had a bookstore meeting and then there was a service frair so we could find out about all the service opportunities for BYU. There was also an information fair to inform us about all of the various clubs and organizations there are designed to help us or to have fun. During our three hour block for dinner my ward (the 55th Ward) had an ice cream social so we could start to meet one another. It was lots of fun and I met a lot of fun people in my ward, girls and guys a like. After that we had the Saturday Night Fianle. This was filled with blow up obstacle courses, volleyball, Mario Cart, a dance, and "The Dating Game". I know what you're thinking, "You"ve been at BYU for not even two days and they're already amking you date?!" And I agree, but it wasn't like that at all. Only four people actually ended up with a real date. It was like one of those dating game shows where there are elligble bachelors or bachelorettes who are eliminated as he questions are answered. IT was actully REALLY entertaining! Then Divine Comedy performed! They are a comedy group at BYU that is hilarious!! I would strongly advise you to look them up on YouTube or something! They had me laughing hysterically! I'm even thinking about audtioning in the fall!
Sunday was pretty much a normal sunday. I got up and went to church which was a little different because all of us including the bishopric were new and we needed to get used to the schedule and to work on some logistics. We then had to take what looked like prison photos for our ward directory. Then we had our first hall meeting where we talked about the rules, and got to know each other better. Then, becuase it was Father's Day I went to my Aunt Cindy's house for dinner with them, my parents, and some of my aunt and uncle's friends. IT was really good! Then I went back to my dorm for ward prayer. There was a really strong spirtual feeling as we all knealt together in prayer.
Monday was the first day of class! I am taking Psychology and Dinosaurs (They are separate!). My classes are actually pretty amazing so far. When I came into psych my teacher was playing The Beach Boys. This is also the class that we have "Peer Mentors" for to help us get used to life at BYU. My Dinosaur class was fun to. WE went to the Palentology Museum and apparently are going to take a lot of field trips because on wednesday my class is four hours and fifty minutes long!! After class I ate a late lunch with my parents at the CougarEat and then I bought a new pair of tennis shoes! Guess what color is on them? Purple! Oh, by the way, I am typing this on my new laptop that is also purple! Then we had FHE where we did some get to know you games and then a couple of us decided to go play basketball. IT was fun, we said Hello to everyone who walked by and they thought we were insane!
Today we had a really good devotional about standing on a firm foundation. Then since I have no class on tuesday or thursday I have been doing homework, and writing thank you notes!
So that is what you have missed so far! I will try to keep you more updated than this seeing how I have a lot of things planned in the future!
